Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services in Illinois is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat swallowing and communication disorders, collaborate with a rehab team, and support senior patients.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with private treatment sessions, licensure reimbursement, CEUs, and a comprehensive benefits package as part of a not-for-profit organization dedicated to quality of life.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or ability to obtain before starting employment.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based techniques.
• Establish treatment goals and develop SLP treatment programs based on a full clinical evaluation.
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate the plan of care for patients.
• Treat residents one-on-one with private sessions and a functional-based approach.
• Desirable Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements.
