Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services in Rogers, AR is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat residents with swallowing and communication disorders, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to implement evidence-based plans.

This full-time, on-site role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements, licensure reimbursement, CEUs, and comprehensive benefits. A Master’s in Speech Language Pathology and current state licensure are required.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in speech language pathology required.
  • Current state license as an SLP or ability to obtain before starting employment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based techniques.
  • Establish treatment goals and develop/implement speech pathology treatment programs based on clinical evaluation.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/ cognitive impairments, utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques
  • Establish treatment goals, as well as develop and implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based upon a full clinical evaluation
  • Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
  • Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients
  • Treat residents one on one so each patient gets individualized attention through private treatment sessions with a functional based treatment approach
  • The ability to individualize treatment sessions!
  • Desirable Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements

Qualifications
  • Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology school.
  • Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
  • Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills
