Job summary

Arete Health is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a full-time basis in an outpatient setting in the United States. The ideal candidate will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders while delivering evidence-based care.

The role emphasizes collaboration with an interdisciplinary team and patient education, with ongoing adherence to regulatory standards and client-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure (or license‑eligible) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• CCC‑SLP preferred.
• Experience in outpatient / school / home health / SNF setting preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time‑management skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
• Provide therapy services to pediatric and/or adult patients (depending on setting)
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes in a timely and compliant manner
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and strategies for carryover
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (PT, OT, physicians, educators, etc.)
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations and ethical standards

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, assist, and transfer patients as required
• Prolonged standing, walking, and manual therapy activities
• Ability to demonstrate therapeutic exercises and techniques
