Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our not-for-profit team dedicated to providing personalized care for senior living residents. You will evaluate and treat swallowing and communication impairments, develop goals, and deliver individualized therapy within a collaborative care model.

Responsibilities include program development, participation in clinical conferences, and one-on-one sessions to maximize functional outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or ability to obtain before starting employment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

  • Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based techniques.
  • Establish treatment goals and develop/implement SLP programs based on clinical evaluation.
  • Provide rehabilitative services to patients as part of a coordinated team.
  • Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate plans of care.
  • Treat residents one-on-one with individualized, functional treatment sessions.

  • Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/ cognitive impairments, utilizing a variety of evidenced based therapeutic techniques
  • Establish treatment goals, as well as develop and implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based upon a full clinical evaluation
  • Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
  • Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients
  • Treat residents one on one so each patient gets individualized attention through private treatment sessions with a functional based treatment approach
  • The ability to individualize treatment sessions!

  • Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology school.
