Job summary

Innovate Rehab and Wellness in Arcadia, LA is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing setting.

You will collaborate with OTs, PTs, physicians, and nursing staff to develop individualized treatment plans and improve patients' quality of life; requires Master’s in SLP, state license, and CCC-SLP preferred; new grads welcome.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid state SLP license.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred.
• Prior speech therapy experience preferred (new grads welcome).
• CPR certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide therapy for articulation, cognitive-communication, and swallowing.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques.
• Collaborate with OTs, PTs, physicians, and nursing staff for comprehensive care.
• Document patient progress and update treatment plans accurately.
• Stay current with best practices and advances in speech-language pathology

Position Summary

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will:
