Job summary

AnthroMed Education is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for short-term FMLA coverage in Illinois. This full-time, onsite role serves PreK–5 students and may span two school buildings, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM.

You will provide direct therapy, conduct evaluations, develop goals, participate in IEP meetings, document progress, and collaborate with teachers, families, and related services.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois IDFPR Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required.
• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to PreK–5th grade students.
• Support students with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs.
• Conduct evaluations and contribute to eligibility determinations.
• Develop and implement individualized speech-language goals.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on individual needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers.
• Ensure students receive services in accordance with their IEPs.

Position Details

• Position: Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist – FMLA Coverage

• Grade Levels: PreK–5th Grade

• School Assignment: Potentially 2 schools

• Setting: Onsite

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM

• Employment Type: Full-Time

• Start Date: October 8, 2026

• Anticipated End Date: January 22, 2027

• Note: Assignment dates may change based on the duration of the employee's FMLA leave

Caseload & Responsibilities

The selected SLP will provide speech-language services to students across the PreK–5th grade age range. The clinician may support students across two school buildings depending on district needs.

Responsibilities may include:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to PreK–5th grade students
• Support students with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
• Conduct evaluations and contribute to eligibility determinations
• Develop and implement individualized speech-language goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on individual needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers
• Ensure students receive services in accordance with their IEPs
