Job summary

AnthroMed Education (School Services) is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for FMLA coverage in Elk Grove, CA. The role spans PreK–5th grade with onsite instruction at potentially two school buildings and a Monday–Friday schedule.

The SLP will provide direct therapy, conduct evaluations, participate in IEPs, and collaborate with educators and families. A pediatric/school background and strong teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • Active Illinois IDFPR Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) is required.
  • Pediatric or school-based experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to PreK–5th grade students.
  • Support students with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Conduct evaluations and contribute to eligibility determinations.
  • Develop and implement individualized speech-language goals.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers.
  • Ensure services align with each student’s IEP.

Position Details
  • Position: Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist – FMLA Coverage

  • Grade Levels: PreK–5th Grade

  • School Assignment: Potentially 2 schools

  • Setting: Onsite

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM

  • Employment Type: Full-Time

  • Start Date: October 8, 2026

  • Anticipated End Date: January 22, 2027

  • Note: Assignment dates may change based on the duration of the employee’s FMLA leave

Caseload & Responsibilities

The selected SLP will provide speech-language services to students across the PreK–5th grade age range. The clinician may support students across two school buildings depending on district needs.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to PreK–5th grade students

  • Support students with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs

  • Conduct evaluations and contribute to eligibility determinations

  • Develop and implement individualized speech-language goals

  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on individual needs

  • Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers

  • Ensure students receive services in accordance with their IEPs

Qualifications
  • Active Illinois IDFPR Speech-Language Pathologist license required

  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required

  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to work effectively with students across the PreK–5th grade age range

  • Flexibility to potentially support students across two school locations

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive hourly rate ranging from $45.00–$60.00 per hour
