Ascension's Seton Medical Center Austin in Austin, TX is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join the Acute Care department on a PRN basis. You will provide therapy interventions, educate patients and families, maintain clinical records, and assist with discharge planning.

Nice to have BLS certification and state licensure; you will work with a care team to support patient-centered communication and rehabilitation needs in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualificações

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist credential in Texas.
• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
• TX Speech-Language Pathologist license or intern credential pending.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):




• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.


• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date. Will also accept Texas-Speech Language Pathologist - Intern

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
