Ascension is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist at Ascension Providence in Waco, Texas to deliver patient-centered therapy in the Acute Care department. The role emphasizes direct therapy, patient and family education, and comprehensive documentation to support discharge planning and post-discharge resources.

Licensure through the Texas State Board and a supporting credential are required within specified timelines.

Qualifikationen

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology obtained within 12 months of hire
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date. Will also accept Texas-Speech Language Pathologist - Intern

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
