Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 48 hours of college credit if working in a Title 1 school or pass the ParaPro exam.
• Prior work with individuals with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement drill and practice exercises designed by the teacher for groups or individuals.
• Keep accurate data on assigned groups and students for data collection.
• Supervise and monitor student activities inside the school and in community settings.
• Provide personal care support for students as needed.
• Apply behavior management procedures per district policies.
• Assist with preparation and adaptation of instructional materials.
