Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• If working in a Title I school: 48 hours of college credit or pass the ParaPro exam.
• Experience with students with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement instructional drills and practice exercises as directed by the teacher.
• Maintain accurate data on groups or individuals for data collection.
• Supervise and monitor student activities in school and community settings.
• Provide personal care support related to self-help and hygiene.
• Assist with behavior management in line with district policies.
• Contribute to a safe, positive learning environment.
• Prepare and adapt instructional materials under teacher direction.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student progress.
