Job summary

Granite Schools is seeking a Special Education resource paraeducator to support instruction under the supervising teacher. The paraeducator will provide direct services to students, assist in data collection, and help create a positive learning environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; Title I schools may require 48 college credits or ParaPro. The role requires reliable attendance and the ability to work 12 hours per week, with potential bus supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• If Title I school: 48 college credits or pass ParaPro exam.
• Prior experience with students with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement drill and practice exercises designed by the teacher.
• Keep accurate data on assigned groups and/or individual students.
• Supervise and monitor student instructional activities.
• Provide personal maintenance care for students (self-help and hygiene).
• Maintain professional confidentiality regarding student progress.
