Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required special education endorsements.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement lesson plans for in-person, distance, and virtual learning that reflect district curriculum and accommodations.
Collaborate with students, parents, and staff to develop IEP through the ARD process for each student.
Implement instructional, therapeutic, or skill development programs for assigned students with evidence of preparation.
Assess student learning styles and plan strategies, activities, and materials to meet individual needs.
Present subject matter effectively per IEP guidelines using diverse media and technology.
Participate in ARD Committee meetings and selection of instructional media.
