Job summary

Cleburne ISD seeks a Special Education Teacher to provide individualized instruction and support for students with diverse needs. The role involves developing IEPs, collaborating with families and staff, and delivering tailored instructional activities in a self-contained, team, or itinerant setting.

The teacher will implement instructional and therapeutic programs, plan lessons, and adjust curricula to meet student goals while utilizing technology and maintaining ARD-related documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and Texas teaching certificate with special education endorsements.
• Experience with ARD/IEP processes is preferred.
• Knowledge of curriculum development and instructional strategies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with students, parents, and staff to develop IEPs through ARD for each student.
• Plan and deliver instructional programs reflecting learning styles and needs.
• Work with teachers to modify regular curricula and support students in regular classes.
• Participate in ARD Committee meetings and assess student learning styles.
