Katy ISD WOODCREEK JUNIOR HIGH - Katy, Texas is seeking a SPED - Resource/ICS Secondary teacher to support eligible students. You will provide special education consultation and instruction, communicate with campus staff, district special education staff, and parents about ARD/IEP processes and progress.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, a valid Texas certificate, CPI certification, and the ability to coordinate ARD/IEP meetings while collaborating with general education staff.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree and Texas cert required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and parents.
• CPI certification required after employment.
• ARD/IEP planning and documentation experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare ARD/IEP materials and attend meetings for students eligible for special education.
• Complete local, state and federal paperwork for program participation.
• Develop instructional programs to achieve mastery of essential knowledge and skills.
• Collaborate with regular education teachers and service staff to set PLAAFP and annual goals for IEPs.
• Administer state assessments and maintain current records.
• Maintain confidential student records and audit folders.
• Provide Personal Care as identified in IEPs where required.
• Attend trainings and SHARS duties as assigned.
