Job summary

Katy ISD MEMORIAL PARKWAY ELEMENTARY in Katy, Texas seeks an Aide - SPED - ECSE/Bilingual to support instructional activities for students with disabilities and assist the classroom teacher in daily lessons.

The role is non-exempt, reports to the Principal, and involves implementing behavior strategies, data collection, and helping with lifting or positioning as required. Qualifications include 48 college hours or a 464 ParaPro score, Paraprofessional Aide II, and CPI certification.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with students with disabilities.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong communication skills with students and staff.
• Familiarity with general office equipment and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with instructional needs and activities.
• Implement behavior intervention strategies.
• Support in activities and drills planned by the teacher.
• Maintain confidential student records and data on progress.
• Provide personal care and assistance as identified in IEPs.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining instructional materials and equipment.
• Support no-medical procedures per student needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
