Paradise Valley Unified School District is seeking a SPED Instructional Assistant/Personal Care LPN at North Canyon High School in Phoenix. This 9-month position requires 6.75 hours daily and reports to the School Nurse. Compensation is Grade 26, with licensing and clearances required.

Responsibilities include supporting students, monitoring health signs, and complying with care plans, while maintaining professional communication with staff and families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Possession of a current license to practice as a licensed practical nurse (LPN).
• Criminal Background Clearance and Arizona DPS Fingerprint Clearance.

Responsabilités

• Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees and community.
• Observe, record, and report to the school nurse the condition of the student, including signs and symptoms that may indicate a change in condition.
• Provide emotional and physical comfort of the student.
• Assist in the care of the student in accordance with the student's care plan.
• Assist as needed with other students in the program.
• Other job-related duties as assigned.
