Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Possession of a current license to practice as a licensed practical nurse (LPN).
• Criminal Background Clearance and Arizona DPS Fingerprint Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees and community.
• Observe, record, and report to the school nurse the condition of the student, including signs and symptoms that may indicate a change in condition.
• Provide emotional and physical comfort of the student.
• Assist in the care of the student in accordance with the student's care plan.
• Assist as needed with other students in the program.
• Other job-related duties as assigned.
