ACCEL Schools is seeking a Special Education Instructional Aide at Strongsville Academy in Strongsville, OH. The Instructional Aide assists the Teacher with classroom activities and helps promote positive student behaviors in academics and extracurriculars.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two years of college coursework or passing the Paraprofessional Exam.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to meet educational standards and work under pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication; confidentiality.
• Physical ability to lift 25–40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supports lessons taught by the teacher to individuals or groups.
• Helps plan classroom activities and supports parent relations.
• Assists with school activities and events.
• Performs clerical duties like grading and copying.
• Assists with classroom technology and maintaining cleanliness.
