Job summary

International Leadership of Texas is seeking a paraprofessional to support students with disabilities inside and outside the classroom. You will assist with instructional programs, self-help tasks, and behavior management under supervision of teachers and principals.

Responsibilities include preparing materials, managing records, supervising during meals and recess, and assisting with mobility and personal-care needs as required.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience working with children.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Help teacher prepare instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Help maintain a neat and orderly classroom.
• Assist with inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment.
• Help teacher keep administrative records and prepare required reports.
• Provide orientation and assistance to substitute teachers.
• Assist with student transportation, lunchroom, and playground supervision.
• Monitor student behavior and support self-help and personal care tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in professional development.
