Job summary

International Leadership of Texas is seeking an Educational Aide to support students with disabilities inside and outside the classroom, under supervision of a certified teacher. You will assist with self-help, behavior management, and instructional programs while helping implement classroom plans.

The role includes preparing instructional materials, maintaining a neat classroom, managing records, and aiding substitute teachers.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with disabilities or in related settings.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Help teacher prepare instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Maintain a neat, orderly classroom and assist with inventory and equipment.
• Help keep administrative records and reports; orient substitutes.
• Assist with student physical needs, transfers, feeding and personal care as needed.
• Manage student behavior and supervise students during lunch, bus, and playground.
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in professional development.
