Job summary

Washoe County School District is seeking a Paraeducator Aide II to support teachers in a variety of instructional activities within special education classrooms. The role includes one-on-one and group assistance, helping with functional life skills, academic tasks and behavioral support as needed.

• Experience in special education settings.

• Assist students with intellectual, physical, or behavioral disabilities in daily activities.
• Provide one-on-one or small group instructional support as needed.
• Support instruction in functional life skills and classroom routines.
• Assist in handling classroom equipment and student-related technology.
• Record progress toward goals and communicate with teachers.
