Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in West Hills, CA is seeking a Problem Resolution Specimen Technician for a Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM schedule. The role emphasizes identifying and solving specimen processing issues to expedite testing and reporting, with chances of performance bonus.

Responsibilities include serving as primary contact for resolving specimen problems, communicating with internal departments, interpreting tracking data, ensuring SOP compliance, and supporting priority

Qualifications

Minimum one year in Specimen TechIII or related role.
Three years lab experience preferred in a production environment.
Medical background with relevant terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary contact for resolution of specimen problems and coordinate with internal departments to prevent delays.
May contact clients to obtain problem resolution.
Demonstrate competency in Specimen Processing problem resolution and SOP adherence.
Interpret specimen tracking data using laboratory information systems and related tools.
Ensure compliance policies related to test ordering and reporting are followed.
Assist with prioritizing samples with limited stability and issues impacting client care.
