Responsibilities

• Performs data entry and labeling of laboratory samples accurately and timely.
• Prepares laboratory samples accurately and timely for testing.
• Operates imaging system and retrieves requisitions as requested.
• Maintains knowledge of HIS and LIS systems and related department areas.
• Communicates with floors and physicians regarding test requirements and labeling.
• May transport specimens to department or prepare for transfer to other departments or labs.
• May perform limited training as requested.
