Job summary

BD is seeking a field-based Clinical Support Specialist to help optimize Specimen Management processes across multiple states, advancing clinical practice and hospital operations.

You will engage with BD customers face-to-face, deliver presentations, and drive change management while leveraging Lean and MT/ASCP credentials. A strong background in medical devices and LIS knowledge is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, nursing, life science or relevant field (MT ASCP, LEAN preferred)
• 4–6 years’ experience in Medical Device/IVD industries
• Strong financial, analytical, communication and presentation skills; basic LIS IT knowledge

Responsibilities

• Fosters evolving partnership between Specimen Management and customers in a clinical process advisory capacity
• Maintain knowledge as product specialist for Specimen Management as product/guidelines evolve
• Engage with key opinion leaders to identify critical areas for improvement
• Drives project goals to improve process efficiency and department effectiveness
• Proactively ensures optimal workflow and product utilization
• Facilitates project processes using best practices and financial analysis
• Interview stakeholders to support process improvement recommendations
• Lead change management activities for process improvements
• Engage stakeholders to obtain support for recommendations
• Deliver presentations to Nursing, Laboratory, Infection Prevention, Occupational Health, Pharmacy, Supply Chain, Senior Hospital Management
• Maintain ongoing collaborations to ensure continuous improvement from projects
