Job summary

BD is seeking a field-based Clinical Support role focused on Specimen Management across multiple states. You will observe current clinical practice and recommend Best Practice process optimization in clinical laboratory and nursing processes, with regular interaction face-to-face with BD customers.

The role requires 4–6 years of experience in process improvement within Medical Device/IVD sectors, strong financial and analytical skills, and knowledge of Hospital IT systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, nursing, life science or relevant field; MT ASCP/LEAN certification or obtain within 6 months preferred.
• Minimum 4–6 years’ experience in process improvement, change management in Medical Device/IVD industries.
• Strong financial/analytical skills; effective communication and presentation skills; basic Hospital/Laboratory IT knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Foster partnerships between Specimen Management and customers in advisory capacity.
• Act as product specialist for Specimen Management as guidelines evolve.
• Engage with key opinion leaders to identify improvement opportunities.
• Drive project goals to improve process efficiency and department effectiveness.
• Ensure optimal workflow and product utilization.
• Lead change management activities for process improvements.
