Job summary

Altasciences Preclinical Columbia LLC is seeking a Supervisor for Specimen Management to oversee staffing, training and supervision within GLP-compliant workflows. You will ensure proper scheduling, training, and efficient resource management while coordinating with Study Directors and Laboratory staff.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus experience in a laboratory or regulated environment and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a laboratory or regulated setting preferred.
• 1 year or more supervising staff is advantageous.
• Familiarity with GLP and IATA/49 CFR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead staffing, training, and supervision within Specimen Management.
• Ensure GLP compliance across the team.
• Develop and optimize workload and scheduling for efficient workflows.
• Monitor study progress and timelines, and coordinate with study teams.
