Altasciences in Cypress is seeking a part-time Sample Management Coordinator to oversee biological samples collected during clinical trials. You will ensure compliance with study protocol, GCP and SOPs, and maintain sample inventory, processing, and shipping.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, customer service, and coordination with internal teams and external vendors. A high school diploma is required, with college degree preferred; strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree and related work experience preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Detail oriented, well organized, customer service focused, able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure confidentiality of clinical trial participants and sponsors is respected.
• Maintain high level of customer service and quality within the department.
• Report procedural deviations to appropriate supervisory team members.
• Understand protocol-driven timed study events and acceptable windows.
• Perform clinical trial activities including sample prep, handling, inventory and shipping.
• Coordinate with external vendors and maintain sample management equipment.
• Maintain communication with clinical/study operations teams on sample status.
• Assist in data queries and generate sample management reports.
• Complete training as required and perform general administrative tasks.
