Job summary

TriCore Reference Laboratories is seeking a skilled Supervisor for the Specimen Management department. You will oversee staff, ensure quality and timely processing, and coordinate training and evaluations to maintain high performance.

Responsibilities include managing workflow, coaching employees, and ensuring regulatory compliance while collaborating with other departments and customers to uphold service standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years relevant experience in a clinical laboratory setting with at least two (2) years of specimen processing experience.
• Previous Supervisory or Lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee department staff and interview/ select candidates.
• Review performance evaluations and coach staff as needed.
• Monitor department workflow and time cards for accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance with safety, QA, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate training programs and maintain department communications.
