Job summary

Millennium Health is hiring a Full-Time Specimen Collector in Longview, WA. You will collect urine and saliva specimens, prepare shipments, and act as a liaison between clinics and our lab. This role requires patient-first service and adherence to privacy and security policies.

Ideal candidates have 6+ months in specimen collection or 1+ year in a medical setting, plus strong computer and smartphone skills. Valid driver’s license and reliable transport are needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 6+ months of specimen collection experience or 1+ year in medical field supporting patients.
• 2+ years of customer service experience acceptable in lieu of medical experience.
• Ability to navigate smartphone and computer.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as liaison between practice/clinic and laboratory.
• Record patient information, physician order details, and lab data.
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information.
• Order and maintain collection supplies onsite.
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens.
• Drive between multiple facilities if required.
