Job summary

Millennium Health in Port Orchard, WA is seeking a Full-Time Female Specimen Collector to collect urine and oral fluid specimens, process and package them for shipping, and serve as a liaison between clinics and the laboratory.

Ideal candidates have 6+ months in specimen collection or 1+ year in medical field, plus 2+ years customer service; must navigate smartphones/computers, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to travel to multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a specimen collector or medical field preferred (6+ months).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with smartphones and computers.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as liaison between the practice/clinic and the laboratory.
• Record patient information, physician order details, and pertinent laboratory information.
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in ordering portal.
• Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite.
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens when applicable.
• Travel to multiple facilities; occasional overnight coverage.
