Job summary

Millennium Health LLC is seeking a dedicated Specimen Collector in Seattle, WA to provide exemplary care and service to patients, clinicians, and our laboratory. Responsibilities include collecting urine and saliva specimens, packaging for shipping, and acting as the liaison between clinics and the lab.

Ideal candidates have 6+ months of specimen collection experience or 1+ year in a medical setting, plus 2+ years in customer service.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of specimen collection experience or 1+ year in medical field supporting patients.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as intermediary between practice/clinic and laboratory.
• Record patient information, physician order details, and pertinent laboratory information.
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in ordering portal.
• Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite.
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens (when applicable).
• Driving between facilities may be required.
