Job summary

Allegion is seeking candidates for the Sales Development Program – Specification Track in Florida. The program includes 9 months of rotations with training, culminating in a full-time role writing door hardware specifications for architects and the construction industry.

During the first six months, you will relocate to Denver for training, then transfer to your regional sales office. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electronics aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Create technical hardware sets and specifications for the architectural community, including code compliance for new construction projects and aftermarket requests.
• Provide solutions to architects on product application requirements.
• Participate in pre and post installation meetings and assist with revisions, access control coordination, and information requests during all project phases.
• Exhibit understanding of electro-mechanical products and solutions including access control and software.
• Communicate door hardware coordination requirements and conflicts (e.g., access control, electrical requirements, specialty doors).
• Work with your team to deliver a positive customer experience and meet project commitments.
• Maintain industry/product knowledge by reviewing market data and adapting to marketplace changes.
