Job summary

Allegion offers a Remote, United States–based Sales Development Program – Specification Track. You begin with immersive SDP training in Denver, then transition to your regional sales office to write specifications with supervision. The program develops knowledge of products, codes and how to read blueprints for access solutions.

Qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and willing to relocate to Denver during training; sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Architecture, or Technical field preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electronics aptitude.
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create technical hardware sets and specifications for the architectural community, including code compliance for new construction projects and aftermarket requests.
• Provide solutions to architects on product application requirements.
• Participate in pre and post installation meetings and assist with revisions and information requests.
• Demonstrate understanding of electro-mechanical products including access control and software.
• Communicate door hardware coordination requirements and conflicts (e.g., access control, electrical).
• Work with team to deliver a positive customer experience and meet project commitments.
• Maintain industry knowledge and adapt to market changes.
