Allegion plc is seeking candidates for the Sales Development Program – Specification Track. You will rotate for 9 months, including six months of training in Denver, CO, reading blueprints and learning industry codes.

In the last three months you’ll move to your regional sales office to write specs under supervision and prepare for a full-time role. You will create technical hardware specifications for the architectural community, coordinate access control needs, and engage in comprehensive

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Architecture, or Technical field preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools and ability to learn industry-specific software.
• Strong mechanical and electronics aptitude with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create hardware sets and specs for architects, ensuring code compliance for new construction and aftermarket requests.
• Provide solutions to architects on product application requirements.
• Participate in pre and post installation meetings and assist with revisions, access control coordination, and RFI handling.
• Understand electro‑mechanical products including access control and software.
• Communicate door hardware coordination needs and conflicts (access control, electrical, specialty doors).
• Work with team to deliver a positive customer experience and meet project commitments.
• Maintain industry/competitor product knowledge through market data.
