Job summary

Legrand, a global leader in electrical infrastructure, seeks a Specification Consultant to build and sustain presence with specification communities and contractors. You will develop pipelines reflecting market opportunities and drive territory quota attainment through collaboration with the sales team and end users.

The role emphasizes design assistance, Legrand Master Spec, training seminars, and effective use of CRM tools to optimize territory coverage and account penetration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent construction industry experience.
• Minimum 5 years in sales/marketing or 10+ years in electrical, construction, A/V, or related fields.
• Proficient in negotiation and influencing and able to lead project teams.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Write and secure LNA product specifications with key specification influences.
• Establish relationships with A&E firms through design assistance and training.
• Establish relationships with electrical contractors through training and project management.
• Engage major End Users in key vertical markets and collaborate with the sales force.
• Support local sales teams at distribution partners with reviews, training, and trade shows.
• Maximize sales tools and CRM usage, optimize territory management.
