Job summary

Legrand AV, Inc. is seeking a Specification Consultant to drive product specifications and develop relationships with A&E firms, electrical contractors, and major end users in the Boston area. You will collaborate with the sales team, support distribution partners, and utilize CRM tools to maximize territory opportunities.

The role emphasizes design assistance, master spec implementation, and continued education seminars, with a focus on exceeding territory quotas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent construction/industry experience.
• Minimum 5 years of sales and/or marketing excellence or 10+ years in electrical, communications, construction, A/V technology, engineering, architecture, or interior design.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills; ability to lead project teams through the Construction Sales Process.

Responsibilities

• Write and secure LNA product specifications with key specification influences.
• Develop relationships with A&E firms through design assistance, master spec implementation, and CE seminars.
• Build relationships with electrical contractors for design assistance, training, and project management.
• Cultivate relationships with major End Users in key verticals; collaborate with the sales force.
• Support local sales teams at distribution partners with business reviews, training, and trade shows.
• Maximize use of CRM tools and training materials; optimize time and territory management.
