Job summary

Omnicell is seeking a Staff Pharmacist on the Specialty Pharmacy team in Salisbury, MD. You will provide personalized patient care and consulting, ensuring accurate, safe dispensing and strong collaboration with local physicians.

You will support continual improvement of pharmacy operations, stay current with regulations, and contribute to patient outcomes while working within a global organization focused on medication management.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Maryland state pharmacy board examination passed.
• Pharmacist license current and in good standing in Maryland.
• Up to date on continuing education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services with empathy and confidentiality.
• Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure safe dispensing.
• Improve pharmacy operations and empower the team through continual learning and development.
• Stay informed of regulations and best practices for specialty diseases such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, HIV.

What You’ll Bring

Basic Requirements:

• Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Successful completion of Maryland state pharmacy board examination
• Pharmacist license current and in good standing in Maryland
• Up to date on any continuing education requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in the practice of pharmacy
• Specialty pharmacy experience

Work Environment And Physical Demands

• This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear

Base Compensation: $107,686.00 to $125,000.00
