Job summary

Omnicell is seeking a Pharmacist-In-Charge for the Bay Area Hospital Specialty Pharmacy in Coos Bay, OR, to lead daily operations and ensure the highest standard of patient care.

You will supervise a team, ensure compliant dispensing, and drive continual improvements in service quality while collaborating with local physicians and the broader Omnicell organization.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Successful completion of Oregon state pharmacy board examination.
• Pharmacist license current and in good standing in Oregon.
• Up-to-date on all continuing education requirements.
• Three years of experience in the practice of pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services; advise and guide with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence.
• Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients.
• Business acumen and leadership; own pharmacy operations and embrace continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team’s development.
• Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Oncology, Rheumatology and more.

What You’ll Bring

Basic Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Successful completion of Oregon state pharmacy board examination
• Pharmacist license current and in good standing in Oregon
• Up-to-date on all continuing education requirements
• Three years of experience in the practice of pharmacy

Preferred Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience in pharmacy management

Work Environment And Physical Demands

• This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear

Base Compensation: $150,000.00 to $170,000.00
