Job summary

Omnicell is seeking a Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC) at our Redding, CA pharmacy. You’ll lead the specialty team, uphold top‑tier patient care, and drive efficient, compliant operations within a global organization focused on innovation in medication management.

The requirements include a Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy, California license current, and at least three years of practice; two years in management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Successful completion of California state pharmacy board examination.
• Pharmacist license current and in good standing in California.
• Up-to-date on all continuing education requirements.
• Three (3) year of experience in the practice of pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services; advise and guide with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence
• Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients
• Business acumen and leadership; own pharmacy operations and embrace continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team’s development
• Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, HIV, and more
• Clinical oversight and industry innovation; committee member participation as Omnicell leads innovation in medication management and elevates the roles of the pharmacist in healthcare

Hours and Location

• This pharmacy serves the local community Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm (closed from 12 to 1 for lunch)
• We are located at 3270 Churn Creek Rd STE 101 Redding, CA 96002

What You’ll Bring

Basic Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy

Preferred Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in pharmacy management

Base Compensation: $160,000.00 to $177,000.00
