Job summary

Omnicell in Anderson, IN is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team. You will help the pharmacist prepare and dispense medications, provide friendly patient service, and support accurate data entry to ensure safe care.

This role offers a Mon-Fri schedule with weekends off, a base pay of $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, and a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one, including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans with matching, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Active, non-expired license/registration with the Indiana State Board of Pharmacy.
• At least 1 year of working experience as a pharmacy technician (~2,000 hours).
• Active Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) (PTCB or NHA accepted).

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications accurately.
• Provide exceptional customer service in person and by phone.
• Enter patient, medication, billing, and sales data into systems accurately.
• Learn and apply knowledge of specialty diseases to better serve patients.
• Support and contribute to the pharmacy team and grow with Omnicell.

Pharmacy Hours and Location

• This pharmacy serves the local community Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (closed 1 hour for lunch)
• We are located at 1547 Ohio Ave Suite A, Anderson IN 46016

What You’ll Bring

Basic Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Active, non-expired license/registration with the Indiana State Board of Pharmacy
• At least 1 year of working experience (≈2,000 hours) as a pharmacy technician
• Active Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT): PTCB or NHA accepted.

Work Environment And Physical Demands

• This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
