Job summary

Target is hiring for a Specialty Sales Team Leader. You will lead a team to deliver an Easy, Inspiring, and Friendly guest experience, while coaching consultants and managing daily workload.

The role emphasizes guest service excellence, teamwork, and operating fundamentals across merchandising and backroom processes. You will train staff, monitor performance, and ensure safety and compliance, with a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and coach a team of hourly staff.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a consistent, Easy/Inspiring guest experience across the store.
• Train and coach team members to meet Target’s guest service commitments.
• Lead daily/weekly workload planning to meet sales goals.
• Oversee department sales, inventory, pricing and promotions.
• Assign tasks to team members based on traffic and priorities.
• Support onboarding and development of consultants and staff.
• Partner with vendors to maintain brand standards and product presentation.
• Ensure safety, ethics, and compliance in all operations.
