Job summary

Target is seeking a Specialty Sales Team Leader to guide a high-energy sales team and deliver exceptional guest service. You will lead daily operations, plan merchandising sets, training, and onboarding, and ensure brand standards across departments to maximize guest satisfaction and store performance.

You will manage workloads, coach team members, and partner with leadership to meet sales goals while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Lead and hold others accountable.
• Ability to communicate across multiple devices and operate scanners.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Effective communication skills.
• Adapt to fast-paced environment and varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience.
• Train and coach team members to meet guest experience commitments.
• Observe performance, coach, and recognize great guest moments.
• Review metrics and drive improvements aligned with business priorities.
• Lead a team of hourly team members and guide onboarding and development.
• Plan workload and merchandising sets and promotions.
• Help ensure store safety and compliance with policies.
• Participate in team hiring and onboarding processes.
