Job summary

Target is seeking a Specialty Sales Team Leader to guide daily store operations and lead a team of consultants. You will focus on delivering an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience while managing tasks like merchandising, pricing, and backroom organization.

The role emphasizes people leadership, coaching, and accountability, with opportunities to influence guest service and sales outcomes in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail experience is helpful but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly environment.
• Train and develop team members to meet Target’s guest experience commitments.
• Schedule and distribute workload to meet business priorities and drive sales goals.
• Lead a team of hourly staff, including interviewing, coaching and performance management.
• Partner with vendors to maintain brand standards and merchandising.
• Support department backroom processes, merchandising updates and seasonal changes.
