Job summary

Amgen is looking for a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to connect with medical professionals and deliver clinical knowledge of Amgen products. You will navigate the payer environment, promote products, and implement marketing strategies under the guidance of the District Manager.

You will build relationships, drive territory sales, manage accounts, and address reimbursement issues while maintaining Amgen’s commitment to patient care and strong ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree requirements as listed in Basic Qualifications or higher.
• Sales experience or healthcare-related clinical experience is valued.
• Strong communication and relationship-building capabilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
• Lead as a sales consultant to achieve territory sales through branded messages and educational programs; engage in in-person and virtual activities.
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, addressing patient access, reimbursement issues, and contracts.
• Offer feedback on marketing strategy and conduct territory analysis to inform plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and drive growth while representing Amgen values.
• Maintain passion for products throughout the sales cycle and ensure brand integrity.
