Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative (Senior) in California to connect with medical professionals, deliver clinical knowledge, and promote Amgen products within a managed territory. You will implement marketing strategies and work under the District Manager to achieve sales objectives.

The role requires building relationships, navigating payer environments, and providing product access solutions while delivering compliant, ethical, and patient-focused service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience.
• 4–8 years of sales experience in healthcare or related field.
• Strong knowledge of oncology, cardiology or related areas is preferred.
• Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
• Local market knowledge in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals.
• Lead branded sales programs and educational activities to drive utilization.
• Manage accounts, discuss product access, and resolve reimbursement issues.
• Develop territory plans with the District Manager and analyze sales data.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow in the role.
• Maintain passion for products throughout the sales cycle and represent the brand.
• Uphold Amgen values in all interactions with customers and colleagues.
