Job summary

Froedtert Health in Menomonee Falls, WI is seeking a Specialty Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to lead a growing team within our integrated service center. This hybrid role focuses on designing workflows, staffing models, and ensuring compliance with URAC and ACHC standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in healthcare, strong leadership, and excellent communication, with a background in specialty pharmacy operations and process improvement, to elevate a dedicated specialty technician practice

Qualifications

• A minimum of three years of work experience in health care required.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or a related field, or an approved education plan to achieve a bachelor's degree within four years of hire/transfer date.
• Master's Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.

Responsibilities

• Foster a culture of staff engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement within the technician team.
• Lead development and refinement of a dedicated specialty pharmacy technician staffing model, including workflow design, scheduling, and operational infrastructure specific to specialty pharmacy.
• Oversee specialty-specific technician workflows including patient enrollment and intake, inbound and outbound phone support, and order management.
• Serve as the internal subject matter expert on URAC and ACHC accreditation standards related to technician roles and patient management call workflows, and leading associated reporting and compliance efforts.
• Recruit, hire, onboarding, and develop specialty pharmacy technicians to support a growing and evolving team.
• Managing day-to-day HR functions for the specialty technician team, including performance evaluations, productivity monitoring, competency review, and corrective action processes as needed.
• Collaborating closely with the pharmacy leadership team to identify opportunities to align workflows, standardize processes, improve communication, and advance shared departmental goals while maintaining a focused specialty pharmacy lens.

Key Roles and Responsibilities of the Specialty Pharmacy Technician Supervisor include, but are not limited to:

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

A minimum of three years of work experience in health care required. Leadership experience preferred. Quality improvement, process improvement, team building, and problem solving experience is preferred.
