Job summary

Corewell Health Wayne Hospital is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations in Wayne, MI. The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and teamwork within a Level III Trauma Center environment.

The incumbent will operate in designated specialty areas, own assigned tasks, and participate in training others while adhering to USP guidelines for sterile compounding where applicable.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience in pharmacy. Preferred
• LIC-Pharmacy Technician - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required

Responsibilities

• Operates in a designated area of specialty or assigned responsibilities above and beyond technician duties.
• Assumes ownership and ensures quality and completeness of work assigned.
• Responsible for data collection and/or reporting related to assigned area/project.
• Serves as a role model and leader in the department.
• Escalates any concerns that are identified in their area of work through chain of command.
• Required to adhere to regulatory guidelines to maintain compliance (including USP 795 797 800 in sites that perform sterile compounding).
• Participates in training others in area of specialty.
