Job summary

Required MA Pharmacy Tech license, 3–5 years in a related role, and strong English communication. The position is on-site in Westwood, MA, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Mass Registered Pharmacy Technician license required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years related work experience.
• PTCB certification preferred.
• Strong typing 40+ wpm; knowledge of medical/pharmacy terminology.
• Call Center or telephone customer service experience.
• Bilingual written and verbal communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers, screens and processes a high volume of calls in a professional manner.
• Schedules prescription refills using pharmacy software.
• Updates patient demographics and obtains necessary referrals.
• Records and forwards messages to pharmacist, providers and staff.
• Liaises with medical center departments and external providers as appropriate.
