Responsibilities include scheduling prescription refills, updating patient demographics, obtaining referrals, documenting payer information, and communicating with pharmacists and providers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Mass Registered Pharmacy Tech license required.
• 3-5 years related work experience required.
• Experience with computer systems including web-based applications and Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Answers, screens and processes a high volume of calls in a professional manner.
• Schedules prescription refills and verifies/update patient demographics; obtains referrals.
• Documents payer information including workers' compensation and auto liability.
• Triages calls for urgent information and responds to requests within scope.
• Acts as liaison with medical center departments and external providers.
