Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support distributive services and assist pharmacists. You will manage automated dispensing systems, and prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds according to USP standards, while ensuring strict safety protocols.

The role includes repackaging bulk medications and ensuring accurate labeling, with a rotating/PRN schedule. Maryland Board credential required or preferred; 403(b) plan and EAP provided.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician credentialing required or preferred (PTCB/NHA).
• Maryland State Board of Pharmacy credential preferred.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred.
• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association preferred.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required

Additional Preferences

• Pharmacy Technician credentialed from the State of Maryland Board of Pharmacy required.
